One Trip Retrievable Cement Retainer
Description
The One Trip Retrievable Cement Retainer (Sliding Sleeve) is a dual seal bore packer with a positive closing sliding sleeve valve deployable via coiled tubing, jointed pipe, or wireline. Retrieval is accomplished by straight pull to release. It utilizes a proven multi-durometer packing system located above bi-directional caged slips.
The standard differential pressure rating is 5000 psi at 3000 F. Customizations are available for special sizes, corrosive environments, higher temperature or pressure requirements. Available for tubing sizes 2- 3/8" to 5-1/2".

Application
- One-trip installation/pumping on pipe. Separate trips using wireline.
- One-trip retrieve. Straight pull to release, no downward manipulation required.
- Modular Gauge Rings allow for optimizing seal gap.
- Bi-Directional caged slips located below the packing system provide increased retrievability.
- Multi durometer packing system increases sealing ability.
- Sliding Sleeve Valve System is positively closed by running tool removal to prevent cement flow back from below and hold excess hydrostatic head from above.
- Re-entry.
- Release mechanism is not affected by hanging weight or differential pressures allowing reduction of the required release forces to aid wireline retrieving.
- Once Retainer is released, the tool is locked in the released position allowing the ability to work up.
